Media Relation Manager

Morpheus is looking for a data-driven Media Relations Manager to help tell our startup story to the world. The ideal candidate has experience in PR and media relations for enterprise technology. You understand the value of a compelling narrative and how to turn attention to it. From publications to podcasts, you’ll ensure everyone is talking about Morpheus.

Role and Responsibilities
This is a part-time startup position requiring a full range of media relations and growth activities including:

  • Media outreach
  • Media tracking
  • List building
  • Audience auditing and engagement
  • Product positioning
  • Market intelligence

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of B2B PR/media relations experience
  • Results driven
  • Somebody who isn’t afraid to knock down doors to get media coverage
  • Quantitatively oriented - You trust data, not intuition
  • Good people / leadership skills - You can work with developers and remote teams
  • Self-directed - You find your own growth opportunities and thrive without structure
  • Not afraid to fail - You understand that early growth requires experimentation
  • Engineering background and understanding of cloud technology a plus

Full-time positions include competitive pay and excellent benefits. The location is flexible, as we currently have offices in California, Colorado, Utah, and London.
